The office of Executive Secretary Salvador Medialdea has now received the Anti-Terrorism bill for its final evaluation prior to the President’s approval, said Presidental Spokesperson Harry Roque. Thus, a memorandum is now in place to prompt the President for a course of action.
It has been four years since Duterte took his oath as the President of the Philippines, and four years in an ongoing battle against tyranny and oppressive ruling. The terror bill will be used to criminalize dissent as it authorizes law enforcers to abuse their powers. Once the bill is passed into law, our basic human rights will be doomed and will comprehensively be refuted.
